PeopleSoft was best known for HR management software, however they wanted to announce a new product for supply chain management. This campaign was tasked with announcing the new supply chain software, and to “make the case” to the marketplace why Peoplesoft should be seriously considered. So we used a literal “silver case” enclosed in a classy box that included a CD with a demo and brochure to make our case for this new product. A letter offered a reward for talking to a sales rep. An email campaign and tele-prospecting effort followed up the direct mail campaign to comprise a multi-touch effort.
