SAP needed a new email template design that was more compatible with desktop viewing, especially on Outlook, where images are blocked by default. We also needed to respect SAP’s strong brand and color guidelines. You will notice that almost all of the email is rendered in HTML text and colors, which render whether images are blocked or not. And although the image in the sidebar is required per the brand standards, we put it in a location that didn’t interfere with seeing the value propositions in the email even if images are blocked.
