<p>Furthermore, as a seasoned marketing services company of over 25 years we know online and print advertising have to work harder. The reason is the prospect isn’t necessarily looking for what you have to sell. Consequently, to draw their attention you need great, interruptive creative and an airtight media plan. As Rovi’s print advertising agency we tackled this assignment by creating an ad that captures an unexpected moment. As a result, we used a bride who is distracted from her wedding vows. Nearby an ad from the Rovi Ad Network scrolling on a nearby TV. This ad won a SAM (Subscriber Ad Measurement) Award, granted to Rovi by Advertising Age. It scored among the top 10 ads in its Q3 measurement study for total recall score of 71%, based on a survey of 300 readers.</p>

When EMC needed to provide thoughtful information in a white paper, they chose Beasley Direct as their white paper copywriter.</p>
<p>Our approach to writing white papers is to provide objective information that is useful to the audience and relevant to the issues they are facing. We met with several product managers and recommended two papers that would address all of the decision criteria in this market. To date, we’ve been told that these two white papers are two of the all-time most downloaded assets from the <a href="http://www.emc.com/" target="_blank">EMC website</a>.</p>

<p>Managing this many highly complex responsive email marketing campaigns was very time consuming. So OpenTable asked Beasley Direct, to re-construct their campaigns into templates that are more automated, and easier for marketers to execute regardless of programming experience. The templates are responsive (they look great on desktop and mobile), and rather than having to do extensive data pulls for each section of an email, content is now delivered into each email section from data extensions. The result is easily-editable emails that deliver highly personalized offers to customers—all which takes a fraction of the marketing department’s time to create each week. Their responsive email marketing response rates are on the rise with more personalized and engaging content being delivered to the customer.</p>

They had used a direct mail marketing package that had worked well for two years, but felt like the creative was getting fatigued from overuse. So they asked Beasley Direct and Online Marketing, Inc. to develop two new direct mail marketing tests with the hope of beating the current package control.</p>
<p>To effectively develop a direct mail marketing strategy, we must understand our client’s product or service, audience, and how the two intersect. There are no shortcuts in the direct mail marketing strategy process. We take the time to learn what your buyer needs and how you deliver it. And then we tell your story in compelling language that connects with the reader as a human being. (Jargon for its own sake is never permitted.)</p>
<p>Through extensive customer feedback, Solar Universe knew a couple of things about their customers: One, they feel “used” by how much their current utility provider is charging them; two, they realize saving money on utilities meant they have more money to spend on something else. We tapped into this sentiment, presenting several concepts to Solar Universe, of which two were chosen for the test. We also provided radio scripts and landing page design to accompany the direct mail packages, and managed the list build and printing for the direct mail tests.</p>

<p>The new-generation <a href="http://www.anritsu.com" target="_blank" style="text-decoration:none;color:blue" rel="noopener">Anritsu</a> VectorStar VNAs provide more accurate measurements. Also, it helps customers confirm their device designs and accuracy faster, compared to its competitors. VectorStar requires much less frequent recalibration, a particular problem with on-chip testing.</p>
<p>The primary audience for this campaign is electrical engineers (EE&#8217;s). They think in a very methodical way and want you to &#8220;prove it&#8221;. As a result, they require detailed specs and technical information to make a buying decision. They are not at all impressed by marketing copy and claims that are not backed by statistics.</p>
<h3>A number of concepts were presented</h3>
<p>Concepts presented included some based on Anritsu’s unique and pioneering role as the inventor of the VNA. Additional concepts included various metaphors that illustrated the key product benefits fulfilled by VectorStar. The chosen concept focused on the Mars Curiosity Rover. It had made a spectacularly successful landing on Mars about the time this project began. We pointed out the extreme precision this required, and then made the transition to the reader. We think of the NASA and JPL engineers as heroes, but you are required to make equally exacting measurements every day. That’s why you deserve an instrument like the VectorStar.</p>
<p>This program utilized a multi-touch nurture process that started with a warm up email, followed by a dimensional direct mail piece, followed approximately one week later by an email to the same audience with the same theme and offer, and finally by an outbound tele-prospecting campaign.</p>
<p>In conclusion, the campaign objective was to communicate the Anritsu value proposition and offers with target prospects to create awareness of the Anritsu VectorStar solution. As a result, we ultimately generated face-to-face consultation meetings with qualified firms. The campaign developed 167% more leads than the goal.</p>
